Well, hey, it’s hardly likely to be anything else, is it? Film is one of the big passions of my life. The transformative power of a really good film is immeasurable. People who say to me that they don’t know how I can watch a film more than once are people that will never understand the magic of that strange mix of word, image, and music. I always thought that it was an idiotic question, wondered what they lacked in them that could not see the worth in the cinematic asrts, but then there have always been people that have lacked poetry in their souls. They are not bad people, they are just people that are missing out on something wonderful and enriching.
